Fibre2Fashion's high-traction B2B network attracts a loyal and discerning readership from the global textiles, apparel and fashion industry. We are always looking for articles that go on to enrich our varied audience’s understanding of the textiles-apparel-fashion marketplace, and enable small and medium businesses leverage a competitive edge.

Fibre2Fashion accepts web-only articles from both readers and experts. Upon reviewing a submission, Fibre2Fashion reserves the right to accept or reject it. Submissions are reviewed based on their content, quality and relevance. When submitting an article, please follow the guidelines outlined on this page.

        # HOW TO SUBMIT?
      • It is a better idea to pitch first-if the pitch is accepted, it means your article/analysis is quite likely to be published by us, unless of course it is too badly written to be editorially salvaged.
      • We prefer all submissions to be electronic. We do not accept submissions through postal services. Email your article as a Word Doc attachment to: articles AT fibre2fashion DOT com (articles@fibre2fashion.com ). Do include contact details: name, address, phone number, and email address.
      • Submissions may be sent to us at any time, year-round. Given the volume of submissions we receive, it is not possible for us to respond to all-we respond only to submissions that are accepted for publication. Our response time varies from one to eight weeks. While we try to respond to as many emails as we can, not every pitch or inquiry will receive a response.
        # WHAT TO SUBMIT
      • Do browse through the site first, and go through the magazine as well. Do get a feel of what kind of articles and analyses we publish, and who we cater to.
      • Do note that our readership draws from the textiles-apparel-fashion industry. For instance, the same article that would make sense to a consumer magazine might just as well be irrelevant for us.
      • We welcome submissions from both experienced and new writers on a range of subject areas: (A) Core: Textiles, apparel, fashion, technology (in textiles and apparel), machinery, technical textiles; (B) Allied: Retail, dyes and chemicals, handloom & handicraft; (C) Related: Leather and footwear.
      • The ideal word count is 750–1000.
      • Given our readership base, we prefer articles that dwell on trends, or are analyses in themselves.
        # WHAT TO AVOID
      • Do not send promotional articles or sales pitches. Or, press releases, for that matter. There is a separate section for that.
      • Do not sent articles that work only for consumer publications; we are not one.
      • Do not submit articles that have been already published.
      • Do not submit “papers” that are best suited for academic journals. If you have something that is more of a “paper”, it would be a good idea to rewrite it first – to suit the taste of the audience which is B2B.
      • All statistics need to be as recent as possible.
      • All sources/references must be mentioned/linked.
      • Fashion students are particularly encouraged to write for us.
      • All student submissions must be accompanied by a letter of approval, certifying that the submission is an original work.
      • We are particularly interested in original research.
